William E. Weaver, 90, of Macungie, PA passed away on July 4, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Judith (Wood) Weaver.
Bill was born in Conshohocken to the late Harry B. and Margaret (Hulshier) Weaver. He was a graduate of Norristown High School and served for 10 years in the Army National Guard as a tank driver. Bill was an entrepreneur at heart. Among his businesses, he was an owner/operator of the electrical contracting company, Rees-Weaver and Co. He also owned Pump, Power and Air Company.
Bill was a faithful member of Shepherd of the Hills Calvary Chapel. He was also a Private Pilot who owned and maintained his own plane. He was a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. His love of automobiles had him building and racing his own race cars. He competed in many circuits including Hill Climbs and ran road courses at NASCAR tracks. He also volunteered at Seisholtzville Fire Company where he served as Treasurer.
In addition to his wife of 35 years, he is survived by: daughter, Molly Weaver of Boyertown; son, Hayward Weaver of Macungie; step-son: Robert B. Metka and wife Jeanette, of Boyertown; step-daughter: Susan Metka-Jones and husband Terry of Macungie; brothers: Harry B. Weaver and wife Margaret of WV and John Weaver, of Quakertown; granddaughter: Elle Weaver; step-grandchildren: Jenna Dennis and husband David; Michael Jones and wifef Nadine; Kevin Jones and wife Adrianne; Caleb Steve; Haylee Horvath; Rory Krupp and wife Melanie; great-grandchildren: Austin Jones, Sierra Gannon, Ana Jones and Reece Jones; and step-great-great-grandchildren: Kolson Gannon and Rhett Jones.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 beginning at 9:30 am with services to follow at 11:00 AM at Shepherd of the Hills Calvary Chapel, 527 Hoffmansville Rd., Bechtelsville, PA 19505. A luncheon at the church will be held after the service.
