Obituary for Anna M. Mensch (Genszler)

Anna M. (Genszler) Mensch, 93, wife of the late William E. Mensch of Frederick and formerly of Pennsburg and Red Hill, passed away on Wednesday, July 30 at Frederick Living.

Born in Red Hill, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Edna (Moll) Genszler.

Anna was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Red Hill where she was active in the WELCA as a past President and Secretary and a member of the Pennsburg Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary where she was a past President and Secretary.

Surviving are four children, Robert B. Mensch and wife, Joann of Pennsburg; Frederick J. Mensch and wife, Jackie of Riverview, FL; Michael R. Mensch and wife, DeAnn of Pennsburg; and Donald L. Mensch of Pennsburg; eight grandchildren, Stephanie, Justin, Crystal, Daniel, Megan, William, Derek and Devon and eleven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Thomas C. Mensch; granddaughter, Alcina Marie Mensch; and a brother, Linwood Genszler.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2014 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1244 St. Paul’s Road, Pennsburg, PA with Rev. William Vanderslice officiating. There will be a viewing from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
