Obituary for Patricia J. Brady (Leister)
Patricia J. (Leister) Brady, 81, of Telford and formerly of Red Hill, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Lutheran Community at Telford.
Born in Norristown, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Myrtle (Bright) Leister.
She worked as a cashier at Landis Supermarket, Perkasie. She was a lifelong member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sumneytown, where she volunteered for many church activities. Patricia was a member of AARP and loved to crochet.
Surviving are her children, Kitt R. Brady and wife, Debbie of Sellersville; Bryan S. Brady of Florida; Darryl D. Brady of Green Lane; sister, Sharon, wife of Glen Bowman of Telford; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Christopher, Allyson, Scott and Nathan; and seven great grandchildren, Ashtin, Jayden, Willow, Hazel, Morgan, Macie and Mitchell. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her step mother, Mary B. (Beldyk) Leister.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. on Monday at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3104 Main Street, Sumneytown, PA with Rev. Rebecca Eisenhart officiating. There will be a viewing from 8:30 until 10 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in Frieden’s Union Cemetery, Sumneytown.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3104 Main Street, Sumneytown, PA 18084.
