The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Elizabeth Gyarmati can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Betty and Frank Neumann
Condolence: Betty and I have lost a dear friend and neighbor. Elizabeth invited us to an anniversary party at her home many years ago shortly after we became neighbors. The outdoor party at her home featured delicious food, cheerful music, and a crowd of welcoming people. It was a night to remember - Elizabeth was the gracious hostess and cook extraordinaire! My daughter Becky and we got to know Elizabeth's wonderful daughter Rita through school. Betty and I again became close to Elizabeth during the last five years or so. We would stop at her home to talk and offer assistance whenever we could. She would frequently return her "thanks" by cooking a special Hungarian dinner for us to enjoy. Elizabeth's sense of humor, her laughter and joy of living, her willingness to listen to us and also relate stories from her past made her visits to our home special to us both. She especially repeated time and time again how she enjoyed and loved her grandchildren. She was overjoyed for us when we became grandparents. Elizabeth's family and friends have been blessed by having her in our lives. We feel that she is now looking down on us with love from Heaven.

Condolence From: Betty and Frank Neumann
Condolence: Betty and I have lost a dear friend. We offer our prayers for Elizabeth and her family. Elizabeth befriended us years and years ago by inviting us to an anniversary party at her home. We had only been neighbors of the Gyarmatis for a short time. It was a wonderful outdoor get-together with delicious food and festive music and a crowd of festive people. We will always remember her as a hostess (and cook) like no other. Our daughter went to school with her wonderful daughter Rita. My wife and I came close to Elizabeth again these past five years or so. I would visit and help her and she would occasionally visit our home for lunch. Elizabeth treated us both with kindness and love often making a special Hungarian supper for us as her way of saying "thank you." Her wonderful sense of humor, her desire to listen to us and share with us her memories will always remain special in our hearts. She loved her family and often told us how marvelous her grandchildren were and how they were so special to her. She was so overjoyed when we became grandparents. Her family and friends have been blessed by her time here. May she continue to bless us as she looks down from us from Heaven.
