Anna K.  Bieler (Kolb)
Anna K. (Kolb) Bieler, 90, widow of Lester K. Bieler, formerly of Red Hill, died Monday, May 18, 2015 at Frederick Living.

Born in Pennsburg, she was a daughter of the late Hashley and Emma (Mayberry) Kolb.

She was a 1942 graduate of Pennsburg High School.

Anna worked in insurance claims for 14 years at Red Hill Dental Office, before retiring in 1988 and had previously worked at the former Rosenau Brothers for many years.

She was a longtime member of Palm Schwenkfelder Church and active the community and on the Resident Council and Red Hat Society at Frederick Living. She was a 50 year member and Past Matron of Perkiomen Chapter #318 Order of the Eastern Star and served as Secretary for over 25 years and a Charter Member and Past Royal Matron of the former Unami Court #143 Order of the Amaranth now Dorothy Lim Court #110 in Stroudsburg. She also was a 50 year member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary; a 30 year member of VFW Post #5954 Ladies Auxiliary and a Ladies Auxiliary member of the Owls Nest #1302, the Red Hill Fire Company and Lehigh Consistory. Anna also served as a troop leader and a senior troop leader for the Pennsburg and Red Hill Girl Scouts.

Surviving are her two step-children, Terry L. Bieler and wife, Judith Schwartz-Bieler and Carol A. Aldinger, all of Pennsburg; 7 grandchildren, Terry, Jr, Barry and Tamara Bieler, Meaghan Luttrell, Lauren Greaves, Keith Aldinger and Michelle Oeschele; and 6 great-grandchildren, Morgan and Corey Aldinger, Zachary and Kyle Oeschele and David and Rachael Bieler.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. Nicholas Pence officiating. Burial follows in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery. A viewing will begin at 10 a.m. with an Eastern Star Funeral Service at 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
