Obituary for Ruth N. Buhman (Hoch)
Ruth N. (Hoch) Buhman, 96, widow of Albert L. Buhman, of Zionsville, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2015 at home.
Born in Chapel, PA, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Hannah (Schantz) Hoch.
She was a graduate from East Greenville High School.
Ruth was a longtime member of Grace E.C. Church of Hosensack in Zionsville; where she was a Sunday School Teacher and a Corresponding Secretary of the Board/Missions.
Surviving are four children, John C. Buhman and wife, Diana of Quakertown; James R. Buhman of Catasaqua; Rose A. Schulz of Zionsville; and Linnie L. Buhman of Emmaus; seven grandchildren, Steven, Shannon, Sarah, Brian, Rebecca, Adam, and Karen; five great-grandchildren, Sydney, Delaney, Cricket, Dylan, Grant and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary E. Duka and brothers, Alfred and Ezra Hoch.
A funeral service will be held 11 am on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Grace EC Church of Hosensack, 7609 Buhman Rd, Zionsville, PA 18092 with Rev. Paul Miller officiating. There will be a viewing from 9:30 am until 11 am, Wednesday at the church. Burial will follow in Grace E.C. of Hosensack Cemetery, Zionsville. The Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville is in charge of the arrangements.
