Dorothy C.  Mathias (Christman)
Dorothy C. Mathias, 84, widow of Ralph G. Mathias, of Perkiomenville and formerly of Bechtelsville, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Lyons Station.

Born in Perkiomenville, she was a daughter of the late Oswin and Irene (Kulp) Christman.

Dorothy worked at Wagner Electric, Boyertown for 25 years retiring in 1998. Before that she worked at the Red Hill Pants Factory.

She was a member and active volunteer at Trinity Lutheran Church, Bechtelsville and was an avid bowler in her younger years.

Surviving are her daughters, Brenda S. wife of Terry R. Isamoyer of Lyon Station and Cheryl L. wife of Ron L. Spiece of Perkiomenville; three grandchildren, Kyle and Austin Isamoyer, and Heather Spiece. She was predeceased by brothers, Howard, John, Jacob, and Oswin Christman, and sisters Kathryn Schaffer, Emma Caputo, and Anna Mae Moser.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1749 S. Main Street, Bechtelsville, PA with Rev. Eugene Zaiser officiating. Burial will follow in Bechtelsville Union cemetery. There will be a viewing from 10 am to 11 am Thursday at church. Arrangements are by Mann Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street. East Greenville.
