Donald J.  Duelfer
Donald J. Duelfer, 74, of Bethlehem, husband of Barbara (Bricker) Duelfer, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 at Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital in Bethlehem.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Jante) Duelfer.

Donald was a 1959 graduate of Upper Perk High School and a 1963 graduate of the Naval Academy; then served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam, earning the rank of Captain and serving as a B-52 Aircraft Commander.

Donald worked for 36 years as a Financial Advisor for Morgan Stanley, retiring in 2008.

He was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ East Greenville.

Donald was a member and Past President of the Upper Perk Lions Club and served on the Upper Perk School Board.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 53 years, are two sons, Steven Duelfer of Riegelsville and Brian Duelfer and his wife, Lisa of Coopersburg; two grandchildren, Nicholas Duelfer of Hellertown and Amanda Calhoun of East Petersburg; one sister; Joanne Gallagher and her husband, Jack of College Station, TX; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday May 27, 2016 at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville, PA, with Rev. Tyson Frye officiating. Burial will follow in New Goshenhoppen Cemetery in East Greenville. There will be a visitation from 10 am to 11 am at the church.
