Obituary for Larry W. Smith
Larry W. Smith, 58, husband of Sharlene (Knerr) Smith, of Mertztown, passed away September 1, 2016 at home.
Born in Allentown, PA, he was a son of Jacquelyn (Fox) Smith of Freeland and the late Steward Smith.
Larry worked at the Excel Warehouse in Breiningsville before retiring in 2012. Prior to that, he worked at Bally Ribbon Mill for many years.
He was a member of the Alburtis Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to yard sales.
Surviving along with his wife and mother are daughters, Karen, wife of Nicholas Brey of Perkiomenville and Jennifer Smith of Topton; siblings, Lorraine Smith of Freeland, Linda, wife of Larry Livingstone of Perkiomenville, Johnny Smith, husband of Cheryl of White Haven, Stewart Smith, husband of Barbara of Freeland. Lori, wife of Gary Sheetz of Boyertown, Lisa Rodenbaugh of Boyertown, Lena, wife of Josh Kellar of Mountan Top and Carl Smith of Freeland; grandchildren, Jocelyn, Austin, Benjamin, Jayden and Zachary; sister-in-law, Lisa, wife of Dave Burkhart of Palm and brothers-in-law, Shawn Knerr, husband of Kelly of Kutztown and Timothy Knerr, wife of Vicki of Alburtis.
