Dear Mom
06/23/17 Nine months have past. It is storming I was wondering mom what you would you say today. I believe mom you would say,:
"A Celebration of life today!" Thank you to military men who sacrifice their life daily to protect all Americans. My heart goes out to the families that have lost their children in the military while in combat. and to those that lost their life or carried scars after serving. We need to take the time to make a difference in our soldiers' lives and/or their familys' lives.
Thank you Lord for all those times you helped me and my family in time of need. Thank you for steering our lives in the direction that we needed to go to make a difference. Thank you for helping us in the times of healing, the times of sorrow, the times of loss, the times of sickness, and the times of dispair.
Jesus, remind us to be gently, meek and kind as you are. Love those in our daily lives, because it is only today at this moment that might be our last words on earth and the last memory that others may have of us. End every spoken word with love. Remind us to behave and say things as the slogan says.."What would Jesus do?'
Last but not least, if we fall short of the glory of God, it is not too late to change. Make amends. Lighten up the burden that you may have given to someone. Don't make intentional wrong choices. And be strong in your faith.
Most of all, just breath a breath of life. Take a moment to live. Enjoy those you love around you. Reach out to a lost love one. And, thank the Lord for this day and all he has done for you, your family, and your country.
Love You Always Mom
