Obituary for Harold R. "Butch" Steinman

Harold R. "Butch"  Steinman
Harold “Butch” R. Steinman, 79, husband of Diane L. (Haas) Steinman, of Pennsburg, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016 at home.

Born in East Greenville, he was a son of the late Ralph and Viola (Merkel) Steinman.

Butch worked as a production manager and was employed at Knoll in East Greenville for 41 years before retiring.

He was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ.

Butch was a member of the American Legion Post #184 in East Greenville, the Pennsburg and East Greenville Fire Companies and enjoyed golfing and bowling. The highlight of his golfing career was shooting a hole in one on the par 3 18th at Upper Perk Golf Course.

Surviving along with his wife are four children, Kevin L. Steinman and wife, Bonnie of Boyertown, Stacie D. Miller and husband, Steve of Bechtelsville, Todd W. Steinman and wife, Tanya of Spring Mount and Ray H. Steinman of Telford; daughter-in-law, Beth Ann Steinman of Palm; a sister, Shirley Cleary and her husband, Gerald of Bally; 10 grandchildren, Corey, Kristi, Blake, Whitney, Rachel, Nicholas, Roman, Jordan, Sarah and Ava, a great grandson, Kaleb and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by a son, Dean D. Steinman, two brothers, James and Donald Steinman, three sisters, Anna Haller, Ida Benner and Edna Thompson and two granddaughters, Lindsey and Laura.

Services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, Inc., 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041. Offer sympathy to the family on our website at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
