Margueriete G.  Fries (Marks)
Margueriete G. (Marks) Fries, 88, of Palm, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in St. Luke’s Quakertown Hospital. She was the widow of Carl E. Fries and longtime companion of Robert Cope of Pennsburg.

Born in Palm, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Kathryn (Miller) Marks.

She was a longtime member of Palm Schwenkfelder Church, the American Legion Post #184 Ladies Auxiliary and the East Greenville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Margueriete was a loving wife and mother and will be sadly missed by her children, Barry E. Lahr of Palm, Cynthia K., wife of Lawrence Heintz of Green Lane, Keith E. Fries and wife, Susan of London, KY, Karen E. Bower and husband, Michael of Perkiomenville and Ron E. Fries of Palm; 13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a sister, Helen Miller and a great granddaughter, Ally Heintz.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Palm Schwenkfelder Church, 833 Gravel Pike, Palm, PA 18070 with the Rev. Nicholas L. Pence officiating. Burial will follow in Palm Schwenkfelder Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker, Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041.
