Obituary for Marvin L. Reiman

Marvin L.  Reiman
Marvin L. Reiman, 83, husband of the late Eileen L. (Brunner) Reiman, of Harrisburg and formerly of Pennsburg, passed away Monday, September 29, 2014 at his home.

Born in Pennsburg, he was a son of the late R. Claude (R.C.) and Margaret (Stevens) Reiman.

He was a graduate of Pennsburg High School. Marvin retired from Marlborough Township, where he was a Road Master and Supervisor. He also was a brick layer and stone mason.

He is a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Red Hill and loved hunting and fishing with his late wife.
Marvin was a Veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict.

Surviving are three daughters, Carol, wife of Glenn Hafer of Harrisburg; Lynn, wife of John Pogas of Souderton; and Susan, wife of Larry Saltzman of Bordentown, NJ; three siblings, Betty, wife of Floyd Treffinger of Pennsburg; Shirley Brey of Barto and Larry Reiman and wife, Nancy of Genesee, PA; seven grandchildren, Colin, Sean and Michael Hafer; Liz and Stephanie Pogas; and Jake and Ethan Saltzman; 2 great granddaughters, Grace and Carli Hafer. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Reiman.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1244 St. Paul’s Road, Pennsburg, PA with Rev. William A. Vanderslice officiating. Burial follows in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
