Judie was a grade ahead of me in High School.  Though our school was rather small, our paths never really crossed back then.   But her daughter Hunter and my son Jimmy went to pre-school together, and that's when our families got to know each other.  When we'd drop our kids off at pre-school, Judie and I had other work commitments which required us getting to school as early as possible to drop the children off and then be on our respective way.  We (my son, daughter and I) always tried to get there first, but Judie and Hunter were usually there in the vehicle line with their SUV before me and my kids.  It was a fun little race every day that my kids and I enjoyed, especially when we'd arrive first, only to be followed by Judie and Hunter as a close 2nd.  She and Hunter were usually first and we were usually 2nd.  We will always remember those days at Palm Country Day School, when we got to know Hunter, Judie and Bob, and their smiling faces.  God Bless the whole family.
