Obituary for Charles Lynn Jr.
Charles Lynn, Jr., 85, widower of Evelyn A. (Renner) Lynn, of Hereford, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Charles Lynn, Sr. and Dorothea M. (Kleintop) Lynn.
Charles proudly served his county in both the United States Army and Navy.
He was a finishing specialist at Knoll Inc. in East Greenville for over 45 years before retiring.
Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing, painting, crafting, tinkering and above all this, spending time with his family.
Surviving are his children, Jeffrey C. Lynn and wife, Cindy of Pennsburg, Tammy L. Grim of Macungie, Karen M. Lynn of Pennsburg and Brian R. Lynn and wife, Devon of Green Lane; four grandchildren, Brittney, wife of Zachary, Erin, wife of Ryan, Nicole, wife of Josh and Hunter; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Raelyn; two brothers, Milt Lynn and wife, Bernadine and Tommy Lynn; and four sisters, Harriet, wife of Jay Werkheiser, Joan, widow of Stevie Gregus, Alice Lynn and Barbara, wife of Russell Bush.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is predeceased by a sister, Jean Lynn.
At Charles’s request, services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Road Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
