Donna E. (Hicks) Kandrick, 72, wife of Andrew M. Kandrick, Sr., of Bechtelsville, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Pennsburg Manor.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Regina (Ludlow) Hicks.
Donna was a 1964 graduate of Phoenixville High School and also attended both the Gale Institute to become an air stewardess and the Philadelphia Modeling School for modeling business.
She was employed at Weis Supermarkets in Gilbertsville and Pottstown doing office work and prior to that, she was employed at Western Electric for 15 years.
Donna was a woman of faith, and her greatest pleasure was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving along with her husband of 45 years, are her two children, Ami K., wife of John Romano of New Haven, CT and Andrew M. Kandrick, Jr., and wife, Haley of Boyertown, PA; six grandchildren, Autumn, Ashley, Skylar, Faith, Alex and Nicholas; a sister, Charlene, wife of William Cullen of Glen Allen, VA; a brother, David Hicks and wife, Pamela of Downingtown, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at St. Ann Chapel 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Mont Clare, PA. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
