Doris M. Good, a longtime resident of Limerick Township, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, March 19, 2020 at Manatawny Manor where she had last resided since 2017. She was the wife of the late William R. Good, who passed away in 1997 after sharing fifty-one years of marriage.

She was born in Royersford, PA, a daughter of the late Charles M. Hampton and Minnie (Moyer) Hampton Ward. Doris was a 1941 graduate of Royersford High School. She was formerly employed at Bell Telephone and Philco before becoming a machine operator for many years at Stanley Tool until retiring in 1987.

Doris was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Royersford, PA. She enjoyed embroidering and crocheting while watching the Phillies. She also loved watching NASCAR Races, especially the Earnhardts and the Eagles.

She is survived by her daughters: Barbara L. Schaffer; Ruth Ann, wife of William E. Harner III; Brothers: C. Melvin, husband of Mary Louise Hampton; Marquise "Mark" Ward; Grandchildren: Susan, wife of Edward Kutsch, Robert Reed, Jennifer, wife of Timothy Lewis; Great-Grandchildren: David, husband of Anna Kutsch, Jacob Kutsch, Quintin Reed, Logan Reed, Myranda, wife of David Jones, Timothy Lewis Jr. and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rae (Hampton) Grant.

Due to the public health crisis, services are regrettably private for the immediate family. Burial will be alongside her husband at Limerick Garden of Memories. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Autism Society of Berks County, PO Box 6683, Wyomissing, PA 19610. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA.
