The summer Jody and I were 15 was the best summer we ever had. We spent 2 weeks in Wildwood, New Jersey, together with my family and we had the time of our lives. We swam and walked those boardwalks every waking moment. I think we cried on the way home and vowed to come back the next year and one of us did, she did, I was married by that point!! We lost touch after that for almost 40 years and one day I was on Facebook and found her!! I couldn't believe it!! We were both shocked and got together several times for lunch and as life would have it got caught up again and busy and stopped calling and chatting and when I read the newspaper this morning I almost became sick to my stomach to see my dear friends name in that section. Mr.& Mrs. Steffan, I'm so very sorry for your loss and also for Lisa and her family,and Scott and his family, and her siblings as well. The loss is for all who loved her and knew her. She would always put a smile on everyone's face and she will surely be missed by all the people she helped,she found so much joy in that. My prayer is that she is at peace.
