Obituary

Lisa J. Sell, of Topton, PA, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospice-17th Street, at age 55. She was the loving wife of Frank E. Sell, sharing 16 years of marriage together.

She was born on January 15, 1964 at home in East Greenville to Bonnie L. (Beltz) Spengler and the late Russell M. Fritch.

After graduating from Upper Perk High School in 1981, she went on to earn an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Montgomery County Community College, allowing her to help children who were deaf. She also became a tax accountant for JetPay HR & Payroll Services in Breinigsville, PA for many years and worked part time at Bear Creek in their accounting department.

Lisa was a faithful and active member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Pennsburg, serving on church council, teaching Sunday school along with being the Sunday school treasurer. She was also a member of East Greenville Fire Company and very involved with fundraising for Boy Scouts Troop #510 in Topton.

Among her varied interests, she loved anything to do with art, but particularly enjoyed drawing. She also enjoyed reading and watching English comedies.

Along with her husband and mother, she is survived by her three sons: Jacob Sakautzki, Luke Sakautzki and fiancé, Megen Weber, and Asher Sell; her grandson, Chad Sakautzki; her siblings, Michele Gery, Denise Bauman and husband, Keith and Mark Fritch and fiancé, Jacqueline Smith; her niece, Leah Marks; her nephews, Zachary Fritch and Daniel Rotenberger; and many friends who were always considered family to Lisa.

A memorial service will be held at 12 PM on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 81 N. Main Street, Pennsburg, PA 18073 with Rev. Tina Mackie officiating. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10:30 to 11:45 AM at the church prior to the service. The burial will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Mann-Slonaker, Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Road Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422 or online at www.cancer.org.

I am very saddened to hear of Lisa's passing. I worked with her a good many years at the AD Computer/JetPay payroll company. No matter how much work she had or how stressed she was, she could always find humor in the situation. She was a very nice person and the world will miss her.
