Obituary

Patricia Ann (Roming) Witkoski, 83, of East Greenville, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the loving wife of Leo T. Witkoski, Jr., sharing 50 beautiful years of marriage together before his passing in 2009.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Catherine H. (Paull) Roming.

Patricia Ann was a homemaker, devoted to her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who would do anything for her family and gave endless support to them all. She was happiest when her family was together. One of her other passions was quilting. She wanted to make a quilt for each of her children and grandchildren when they graduated high school. She nearly achieved this goal by completing over 30 hand-stitched quilts.

She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Pennsburg.

Surviving are her nine children, Patricia Czar and husband, Butch, Leo Witkoski, III and wife, Linda, Loretta McCarthy, Joan D’Angelo and husband, Bill, William Witkoski and wife, Angelina, James Witkoski and wife, Amy, Eileen Beckman and husband, Brad, Paul Witkoski and wife, Nina and Kathryn Witkoski; 29 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; her sister, Carole Gordon and husband, John; her godson, Thomas Jon Gordon; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass will be held at 1 p.m. on June 27th at St. Philip Neri R.C. Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073. A visitation will be held at the church 12:30 p.m. before Mass. Masks and social distancing is required by the church. Arrangements entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to either of her three favorite charities, the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org; the American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org; or
St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.

My Mom loved trees & painted many with poems that she wrote. I think of her whenever I see a beautiful landscape. So nice to honor your Mom this way

Mom, thank you for all you did for us and shaping us into the people we have become. I only wish I could be more like you. Your kindness, generosity, compassion and ability to listen without judging is inspirational. Know that you are wholly-loved by everyone who knows you. I will miss you more than words can convey but you will always be a part of me and who I am. Rest in peace with Daddy (give him a hug and kiss for me). This is not good-bye, just until we meet again .....

My Mom will always be an inspiration on what it is to sacrifice for the ones you love. Mom always yielded her own wants by putting those of her husband and children above her own.
Thank you Mom! I love you, too.
