Obituary for Roma C. Walton

Roma Caroline (Adams) Walton, 78, died at her Hereford Township residence on March 17, 2010. She was the widow of James N. Walton who died October, 2003.
Born in Scott County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late George M. and Celia T. (Brown) Adams. She was an administrative assistant and statistical typist for Giant Foods for many years before moving to PA, after moving to PA she worked for a local gas co. and a law firm before retirement. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, cooking, gardening, reading, traveling, and volunteering at the Hereford Fire Co.
Surviving are two daughters: Linda Sue Randolph of Portland, OR, and Diana Lee Moses and husband, Rusty E. of Pine Grove, PA, two brothers: George and Leroy Adams; two sisters, Hazel and Margaret; five grandchildren: Chase, Carrie, Joel, Joshua, and Sarah; four great grandchildren, Autumn, Ethan, Isaiah, and Micha.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Violet and Ruth; and two brothers, Ottis, James, John, Franklin, and Calvin.
A Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2010 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA. Entombment will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown, PA. A viewing will be held prior to the service in the funeral home from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, c/o National Penn Bank, 1830 East High Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
