This truely breaks my heart you were an amazing sweet and kind person, you were also determined and quick witted. I'm so sorry that when I moved up to NY i never got to rly see you much anymore, i will always remember when you would make Chow Chow and it would make our house smell like it. Also whenever u made extra lima beans u would call over and me to come over, and get some or even whatever extra treats u had. Whenever I would leave to go on a trip u alway were sure to send me we with something special. I will always remember how u would call over to my mom to check on me if i was sick or anything. I wish i would have gotten to say goodbye to you :(. You were such a special and determined person watch out got he now has a sharped tounged determined lady on his hands. ♡♡ Ruth thank you for blessing my life and helping my family out so much, and me with ur many stories ♡♡♡.

Ruth was our landlord for about 15yrs but she was more than that she treated us like family. We could always tell when she was making her famous chow chow , the house smelled like vinegar and my daughter was thrilled it meant she was getting a bowl of Lima beans from Ruth.

So many wonderful memories with Ruth. She was definitely one of a kind❤️. Funny, hard worker, loyal, good cook but most of all a great friend. Her chow chow was one of her many talents. She would make sugar free chow chow especially for my mother who was diabetic. A woman with a good soul whom we will greatly miss❤️. Maryann Clemmer
