Obituary for William J. Berryman

William J. “Billy” Berryman, 74, husband of Betty E. (Krause) Berryman, of South Wick Drive, Hereford, PA passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2009 at his home. He and his wife celebrated 53 years of marriage on June 2nd.

Born in Marlborough Township, PA, he was a son of the late Henry and Jennie (Schmoyer) Berryman.
He was a Truck Driver for the past 44 years for Corona Corp. in Red Hill. He also worked for 22 years for Muth Disposal and several years for Norman Hunsberger.
He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and the Bechtelsville Fire Company.

Surviving along with his wife are 4 sons, Donald Berryman and his wife, Cindy of Pottstown; Larry Berryman and his wife, Rona of Barto, Ronald Berryman and his wife, Lisa of Hereford and Terry Berryman and his wife, Kristina Olson-Berryman of Schwenksville; a daughter, Debra Hoffman and her husband, Paul of Macungie; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by 3 brothers, Paul, Norm and Charlie Berryman; 2 sisters, Sally Heimbach and Anna Snyder and a great grandson, Lee Andrew Berryman.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. Charles E. Romanowski officiating. Interment is in Christ Union Cemetery, Niantic. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
