Condolence From: Beverly Horton
Condolence: So sad to recently learn of Linda's passing. What a joy she was at work. Always had something fun to say and very positive. We sat across from each other for several months during the best years I spent in the FBI. She was always helpful and a good story teller. I can still she her smile in my minds eye and hear her laugh. Deepest sympathy to all.

Condolence: Jeff and Linda were my other parents across the street. I remember mowing their grass as a kid, and I'm sure they paid me way too much for the job I did! Linda would always bring me cold drinks and snacks when we were outside. They both were then and still are wonderful people. I still have the car they gave to me in 1988, and I love to tell the story of how Jeff would give me his old lawnmowers and I would try to make them run again. So many great memories growing up across the street from the Bloomers.
Jeff, I pray God comforts you in this time of loss. Look to Him as your strength, when we are weak, His strength is made perfect in us.
We will be praying for you and your family Jeff
Love, Doug, Jennifer and kids

Condolence: Linda was one of my very favorite people - she was a true delight to be around. No one could tell a story like Linda! I was so fortunate to have worked with her for many years. We often traveled together and would joke that we were eating our way across the country! My life was definitely enriched because Linda was part of it. I will miss her very much.

Condolence From: Carey Linton and Family
Condolence: I was so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Linda on the years-long task of automating the FBIHQ and Field Office records systems. There were many challenges on when and where to focus on the nuances of case files and critical documents. That is where Linda could step in and help simplify the process with her vast knowledge, and more often than not, do it with a bit of humor. If we could talk today I would say thank you Linda, and thank you for those wonderful costumes that would show up on Halloween. God bless you and God bless your wonderful family.

Condolence: Jeff, I am so very sorry to hear about Linda. She was one of the first people I met at WFO when I arrived in 1980. We worked together until she received a well deserved promotion and became a supervisor. She was the mother hen of the squad taking care of everyone and kepting us all in line! She remembered everyone's birthday with a homemade cake and gave me my first taste of Shoofly pie. We can't forget her famous homemade baked beans at the Christmas parties the guys all affectionately called "Bloomer's Boomers." I once saw her stare down an inspector's aid and heard her say, "if you do that, I'll haunt you the rest of your career." Not sure what he did, but she meant it and he knew it. I lost contact with Linda when she moved to HQ, but last saw her when we went to lunch for her retirement. She hadn't changed a bit. I always admired Linda. She was true asset to the Bu. She was a force to be reckoned with and was fiercely loyal to her friends and colleagues. She will be missed and always remembered.

Condolence From: Judy & Dennis Rasmussen
Condolence: We are so sorry to hear of Linda's death. Judy worked at FBIHQ for a long time and was her supervisor in 2001. Dennis knew her from her WFO days. She was so friendly, nice and funny. She was an expert at her job and provided much support and guidance navigating Bureau files and computer systems. Everyone loved her and especially looked forward to her baking marathons as she brought the most delicious things to work! Our sincere sympathies to Jeff and her family.

Condolence From: Richardson Family
Condolence: Linda will be missed by all of us. We enjoyed very much the times that we would meet at Camden Yards, or Nationals Park, and watch games and eat Bratwursts, and just enjoy the day doing something we all loved to do. Linda had a very warm heart, and her kindness was apparent to all that knew her. Jeff, please accept our family's heartfelt condolences. Kevin, Mimi, Justin and Nicholas.
