The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Linda Bloomer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Jeff, I am so very sorry to hear about Linda. She was one of the first people I met at WFO when I arrived in 1980. We worked together until she received a well deserved promotion and became a supervisor. She was the mother hen of the squad taking care of everyone and kepting us all in line! She remembered everyone's birthday with a homemade cake and gave me my first taste of Shoofly pie. We can't forget her famous homemade baked beans at the Christmas parties the guys all affectionately called "Bloomer's Boomers." I once saw her stare down an inspector's aid and heard her say, "if you do that, I'll haunt you the rest of your career." Not sure what he did, but she meant it and he knew it. I lost contact with Linda when she moved to HQ, but last saw her when we went to lunch for her retirement. She hadn't changed a bit. I always admired Linda. She was true asset to the Bu. She was a force to be reckoned with and was fiercely loyal to her friends and colleagues. She will be missed and always remembered.
