To the Freed family, My condolences, as well as my family's, to all of you during this sad time. Fr. Freed was a priest from whom I frequently sought advice on common daily struggles, especially those involving other people. He had a rather direct style that helped me get right to the point. I also admire his courage in transitioning, within the clergy, from another denomination to Catholicism. As I will not, unfortunately, be able to attend the viewing and Funeral Mass on Friday due to my commitments at school, I wanted to leave this message with the family.
